The 6th Annual School Days’ tradition with its emphasis upon the reenactment and display of pioneer life for local school children was held September 16th and 17th at the Peel Mansion. Almost 500 school children helped load wagons on the “trek” to Arkansas, bobbed for apples, or learned how to grind corn.  (read more...)
