Annual Giving Circle

new pathways / enduring landmarks

give now using our online form...

the annual giving circle...

is our annual public request that helps support the daily operations of both facilities, public programming, Ozark habitat preservation, educational efforts, and so much more. Please join us to ensure that these permanent landmarks are always part of our daily lives.

Special thanks to our 2011-2012 Annual Giving Circle

The Peel Mansion and Compton Gardens...

belong to all those who call northwest Arkansas home. Through the forward-thinking and vision displayed by the original board of the Peel House Foundation, now known as The Peel Compton Foundation, the public now enjoys:

  • Free use of the Compton Trail System
  • Guided tours of the native Ozark habitat being preserved (donations welcomed)
  • Trained docents to explain the history of Peel House and its occupants
  • Children’s Butterfly Garden – free access to the Peel grounds
  • Community involvement and training as a volunteer
  • Reduced event fee at either facility to nonprofit groups

These two permanent fixtures...

lodged within our collective memory mark the former homes of two of our most recognized citizens: noted attorney, Indian agent and Congressman, Colonel Samuel Peel; and leading physician, author, and conservationist, Dr. Neil Compton.

Gifts of stock and appreciated securities are also another valuable way to give.

matching gifts

Many employers offer matching gift programs that will double or triple your contribution. Contact your Benefits Office for a matching gift form.

donors that give $35 and above will receive:

  • Early admission to our annual plant sale on Friday, May 10th, 2013

memorial gifts

The Peel Compton Foundation is always honored when a family member chooses to memorialize a relative through a donation in that relative’s name. It is the policy to acknowledge both the donor’s gift and inform the family of this donation. The Peel Compton Foundation uses memorials and gifts honoring living achievements in the unrestricted fund for garden improvements. Gifts for either use can be made on line.

Whenever possible, we try to recognize those honored through memorial gifts. Please notify our office if you decide to honor a loved one in this manner. We would appreciate a brief obituary that lists details of the person’s life for our website.
