Mildred Catherine Payton

At age 101, she passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Bradford House in Bentonville. She was born October 22, 1909, in Truro, Iowa, to Niles and Ethel Jones. She studied business and played basketball at the University of Commerce in Des Moines, Iowa. She married Clifford Arthur Payton on June 28, 1929, in Chicago. They were married for 56 years.
