Peel Compton Foundation Welcomes Three New Members to Its Board of Directors

Bentonville, Ark. (January 22, 2026) — The Peel Compton Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors: Jafet Malave, Senior Manager at KPMG LLP; Taylor Ruscoe, Senior Merchant, Sports at Walmart; and Stacey Flood, Senior Vice President and Commercial Loan Manager at Arvest Bank. Each brings deep professional expertise and a strong commitment to community impact that will help advance the Foundation’s mission of preservation, education, and public engagement across Northwest Arkansas.

“These leaders bring a powerful combination of financial acumen, strategic insight, and community-minded leadership,” said Debra Layton, Executive Director of Peel Compton Foundation. “Their experience and perspectives will strengthen our governance and help ensure the long-term sustainability of the Peel Compton Foundation and its programs.”

Jafet Malave, Senior Manager at KPMG LLP, brings more than a decade of experience in financial services, auditing, and advisory work for public and private companies. Having recently completed a rotation with KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice, Jafet currently serves financial services clients across the North Central Business Unit, with deep expertise in commercial banking. His background in financial reporting, internal controls, and risk management will be an asset to PCF’s financial oversight and strategic planning. Jafet will serve on the Foundation’s Finance Committee, supporting sound fiscal stewardship and long-term sustainability.

Taylor Ruscoe, Senior Merchant, Sports at Walmart, is a strategic merchandising leader with more than ten years of omni-channel experience driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence. Known for his customer-centric approach and ability to lead cross-functional teams, Taylor has already been a valuable collaborator with the Peel Compton Foundation, advising the programs team and supporting Foundation events. His insight into audience engagement, innovation, and scalable strategy will help strengthen PCF’s programmatic offerings. Taylor will serve on the Programs Committee, contributing to the continued growth and impact of PCF’s educational and community programs.

Stacey Flood, Senior Vice President and Commercial Loan Manager at Arvest Bank, offers extensive leadership experience in commercial banking, sales management, and team development. She manages a team of commercial bankers while maintaining a portfolio of top-tier client relationships and has successfully led teams through periods of significant organizational and regulatory change. Stacey’s collaborative approach and experience working across treasury, wealth management, and finance disciplines will support PCF’s fundraising and visibility efforts. She will serve on the Development and Marketing Committee, helping advance donor engagement, partnerships, and strategic outreach.
