Coler Awarded Arkansas Tourism Attraction of the Year

The Peel Compton Foundation is thrilled to announce that Coler Mountain Bike Preserve has been awarded the title of Arkansas Tourism Attraction of the Year at the 51st Annual Henry Awards. The award ceremony took place on Tuesday during the Arkansas Governor’s Conference on Tourism, celebrating excellence in the state’s tourism industry.

Coler Mountain Bike Preserve, known for its stunning trails and breathtaking natural scenery, has become a beacon for outdoor enthusiasts and tourists alike. This recognition highlights the Preserve’s commitment to providing an unparalleled experience for mountain biking, families, and nature lovers visiting Arkansas.

The Henry Awards, named after the 17th-century explorer Henri de Tonti, recognize the outstanding contributions made by individuals and organizations to promote tourism in the state. Guided Rides

Embark on a two-and-a-half-hour guided mountain bike ride, available for both groups and individuals. Our expert Coler Guides are excited to lead you through Bentonville’s finest trails. Beginning at Coler, the ride can be customized to suit riders of all skill levels. Your guide will tailor the route to your abilities and preferred riding style. At Coler, we’re deeply connected to the MTB community and eager to share our passion, ensuring you have an unforgettable experience!

Noon2Moon Presented by PepsiCo

Noon2Moon is your chance to support the preserve and the incredible community that makes it a premier mountain biking destination.

Friday, May 2 – Kick things off with Packet Pick-Up and the Kids Camp Experience & Races, in partnership with Pedal Kids USA! Young riders (ages 2–14) can participate in bike camps and races, followed by the Parent Hot Lap, where parents take on the course—on their kid’s bike! The evening wraps up with awards, podiums, and a cozy fireside gathering with s’mores.

Saturday, May 3 – The action starts with the Hot Lap Races, where riders compete in a single-lap sprint. Then, gear up for the main event—the 6-Hour Race! Race solo or as a team in multiple categories. The evening concludes with podiums, awards, and a well-earned celebration with food and beverages.

Mountain Bike Classes

We offer a range of mountain biking classes designed to cater to riders of all skill levels, from beginners to more advanced cyclists looking to refine their technique. Learn the basics, fundamentals, drops, jumps, cornering, technical terrain, and more! Each class is taught by experienced guides who are passionate about helping you improve and enjoy your ride.

Off the Bike Workshops

At Coler, we offer a range of Off the Bike Workshops designed to complement your mountain biking experience and enhance your skills beyond the trail including nutrition, bike maintenance, and bike packing classes. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider, these sessions will equip you with the knowledge you need to take your biking experience to the next level.

Kids Camps

We offer a variety of camps, including Summer Camp, Fall Break Camp, and Thanksgiving Break Camp, with age requirements varying by session. While activities differ between camps, all campers will have the opportunity to connect with nature and learn essential outdoor skills! Activities can include Leave-No-Trace principles, shelter building, water collection and purification, plant and wildlife identification, fire-building, yoga, and biking at the preserve! Tour de Coler

Join us for our weekly Tuesday group ride! Whether you’re a beginner or experienced rider, there’s a ride for every skill level. We’ll break into groups based on ability and style. Meet at The Grove Parking Lot and enjoy a fun evening exploring the trails with friends. Completely free, no registration required!

Completed in 2020, this bike park and trail system offer over 19 miles of progressive built trail for every skill level. Created in honor of the area’s first settlers and located in the heart of the beautiful Ozarks of Northwest Arkansas (and just a five-minute bike ride from downtown Bentonville), this premiere recreation destination pushes the limits of mountain biking and typical mountain biking trails. Connected to over 250 miles of natural-surface trails in Northwest Arkansas, this unique getaway is the perfect place to connect with family, friends, and nature—whether you choose two wheels or two feet.
