Animals of Osage

Learn more about all creatures of Osage Park! Join us for a macroinvertebrate identification class hosted by Arkansas Game and Fish. Macroinvertebrates are animals that are larger than microscopic organisms but don’t have a spine, so their skeleton is outside of their body. Using kick nets, participants will collect macroinvertebrates, sort them, and determine the water quality of the wetland at Osage Park.

All ages. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
