Join us for this exciting challenge to bring more Benton County native gardens to life. Please submit your photos May 28th, 2021.

Registration: $20 to register your “Native Influenced” or “All Native” garden. See below for important additional guidelines.

Registration is open until:  Friday, April 9, 2021

Garden Photo submissions due: May 28th, 2021

Winners will be announced Sunday, August 1, 2021.


Native Influenced: Creative use of native species alongside your established home garden. (Minimum 5 different native species)

All Native: A garden using entirely native plants. Can be adjacent or on the same property to other non-native home gardens you may manage.

Additional Details:

Open to Benton County residents. This competition is for amateur, home-based gardeners, submissions of professional landscape work are not eligible. The garden is to be planted on competitor’s own property. All sizes welcome. The gardener does not have to be present for judging.

Photo submission: All participants will be asked to submit at least 5 photos of their garden to mia.standard@peelcompton.org by May 28th, 2021. Additional details on submission will be communicated to competitors after registration.
