Women’s Mountain Bike Fundamentals Workshop

A program in collaboration with the Women of OZ

Certified instructors will take you through the fundamental skills to help you navigate the wonderful world of mountain biking in Northwest Arkansas. This clinic will cover the core on-the-bike skills as well as trail education and trail etiquette in order to stay safe and stay happy! The fundamental skills that you will learn aim to give you more confidence on a bike, and solid a foundation to build your mountain biking skills.

We are keeping these groups to ten participants to ensure the best focused teaching as well as managing safe distancing and COVID-19 precautions.

How much does it cost? $25 The Peel Compton Foundation connects the community through nature, education, recreation, and preservation! This is our mission and we are so excited to share this program with you.

Who is this course for? Women ages 16 and up. Whether you are a first timer on a mountain bike or a veteran looking to up your riding techniques, the certified instructors from the Women of Oz are here to help.

What to bring? Bike, helmet, water, mask, and phone to strava your mileage (kidding, that last one is optional)

Where to meet? Compton Gardens and Conference Center parking lot (directly across from Lawrence Plaza splash pad). Enter Compton Gardens at 312 N. Main or ride to our 3rd Street Exit.
