Current Openings

You will join a professional team as a member of the archery instructor staff and help drive operational excellence by creating a safe and fun environment for all visitors to the range. You will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the Quiver.

General Responsibilities:
· Instruct visitors in proper shooting skills and techniques, safety skills, and range etiquette.

Teach formal classes as well as less formal club and event settings while remaining professional and keeping safety as top priority.
· Strictly enforce all safety guidelines and monitor for the proper use of equipment.
· Provide excellent customer service, assist visitors, answer questions, and maintain a positive range experience. Elevate questions and complaints as appropriate to range manager.
· Staff the check-in area and small merchandise store, utilize POS system, assist visitors with creating
profiles and reserving lanes.
· Assist in range upkeep such as sweeping, cleaning restrooms, and emptying trash cans.
· Inspect, maintain, and repair a variety of archery equipment including compound and recurve bows, arrows, and targets. Keep inventory and log of equipment use.
· Ability to stand for many hours, work in all-types of weather such as wet, cold, hot, humid, and sunny conditions. Perform manual labor including lifting supplies and materials up to 50 lbs.
· Excellent public speaking and customer service skills required. Ability to work with all ages and
genders of archers with a professional attitude.
· The Quiver Archery Range is open Wednesday – Sunday. This is a part time role. Schedule may vary due to weather, daylight, and special events.

Who we are seeking:
· Must have considerable archery experience.
· Must have or be willing and able to obtain a USA Archery Level 1 or Level 2 certification. Training to
be provided.
· Must be a quick learner and willing to maintain flexibility with changing priorities in a fast-paced
· High school graduate/GED is required. Additional education is preferred.
· Bilingual is preferred but not required.

The Guest Attendant has a passion for outstanding customer service. This role handles direct guest services at PCF event facilities. The role must be committed to treating every guest who attends a PCF event with the utmost respect and care. Schedules are varied and are assigned as event rentals are booked, must be available nights and weekends.

Job Description:

  • Welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to company standards
  • Provides excellent guest service for various events and programs, responding to guest and staff inquiries in a prompt, effective, and courteous manner
  • Supports the success of events by helping guests safely enjoy their experience
  • Directs guests to proper location with clear instructions
  • Anticipates and addresses guests’ service needs
  • Assists staff during various program activities and special events offered by PCF
  • Reports accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to Rental Coordinator
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others; supports team to reach common goals
  • Attends in-service training and additional staff training as necessary
  • Enforces facility policies, rules, and regulations as necessary
  • Assists in emergency protocol as required in training
  • Assists key staff in facility set-up for organized events as necessary
  • Performs other duties as assigned

The Rental Manager is a full-time member of the Peel Compton Foundation Development team and reports directly to the Director of Development. The position works with the Director of Development, employees and external associates to promote the PCF and its mission. S/he is responsible for providing rentals and tours to the NWA community at large, as well as specific target audiences within the local community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages, coordinates and executes rentals and sales for all of the PCF properties.
  • Successfully executes all required rental and sales initiatives and tactics.
  • Coordinate and manage scheduling for all PCF properties, ensuring the adequacy of related equipment or materials
  • Exhibits excellent customer service skills, problem solving skills, and communication skills.
  • Respond to client’s questions and complaints
  • Tracks key rental and sales metrics to meet foundation goals.
  • Reports regularly to the Development Committee concerning rental progress.
  • Supports and attends Foundation events (fund-raising, community relations, awareness/education, volunteer appreciation, and volunteer recruitment).
  • Performs other duties, as assigned by the Director of Development.

  • Must be a motivated, self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor messages for different audiences

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or hospitality
  • Degree in Sales, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or English
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work well under pressure, respond positively to changing conditions and prioritize work appropriately
  • Must be a team player, with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to relationship-building for the PCF both internally and externally
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Desire to learn and adaptable to changing work environment
