Volunteer with Us

Volunteers are the heart of Peel Compton Foundation and our volunteers log hundreds of hours each year in support of our mission. Our volunteers have unique roles in each space: giving tours at Peel Museum, keeping up trails at Coler Mountain Bike Preserve, gardening at Compton Gardens, or providing wetland education at Osage Park.

Peel Museum and Botanical Gardens

Museum Docents are at the heart of every tour at Peel Museum, telling the history of Peel Museum to guests.

Gardeners are also needed to ensure the grounds are inviting to all garden goers.

Compton Gardens and Arboretum

Gardeners play an important role at Compton Gardens and Arboretum. Common tasks include weeding, watering, planting and special projects, including greenhouse work that supports the annual Native Tree & Plant Sale. Share your love of gardening and help us pot, plant, and nurture native plants!

Coler Mountain Bike Preserve

Trail workers help upkeep all of our mountain bike trails so visitors have an amazing experience! Sign up to volunteer once or adopt a trail for a more regular time commitment.

Osage Park

The wetlands area is an important part of Osage Park. There is ample opportunity to transform the wetland area by removing invasive species, collecting native seeds, and helping plant native plants. You may even have a beaver spotting!
