The Peel Museum Store is located in a historic cabin built in the 1850s by Andy and Malinda Lynch along the banks of Little Sugar Creek in Brightwater, Arkansas—just 10 miles from its current site. Home to generations of the Lynch family, the cabin housed the couple and their five children during the mid-1800s.

In the 1990s, a descendant of the original owners donated the structure to the Peel Compton Foundation, and it was relocated here in 1993. Though considered spacious for its time, the cabin highlights the grandeur of the Peel home in comparison.
