Women’s Mountain Bike Fundamentals Workshop

A program in collaboration with the Women of OZ

Certified instructors will take you through the fundamental skills to help you navigate the wonderful world of mountain biking in Northwest Arkansas. This clinic will cover the core on-the-bike skills as well as trail education and trail etiquette in order to stay safe and stay happy! The fundamental skills that you will learn aim to give you more confidence on a bike, and solid a foundation to build your mountain biking skills.

We are keeping these groups to ten participants to ensure the best focused teaching as well as managing safe distancing and COVID-19 precautions.

How much does it cost? $25

Who is this course for? Women ages 16 and up. Whether you are a first timer on a mountain bike or an intermediate rider looking to refresh your riding techniques, the certified instructors from the Women of Oz are here to help.

What to bring? A working mountain bike, helmet, water, mask. Platform pedals recommended for a better learning experience.

Where to meet? Coler Mountain Bike Preserve – Grove Pavilion – This area is located on Grove Ln, which is ¼ mile west of the Coler South Gateway on NW 3rd. Look for a blue street sign on your right.
