The Peel Compton Foundation’s Conference Center and surrounding Compton Gardens are an ideal venue for corporate events, private parties, board meetings, special celebrations and much more.We offer a large open concept Garden Room, large and small boardrooms, or the entire conference center for your event.

Compton Gardens & Conference Center

Compton Gardens & Conference Center can be configured for seating in a variety of different ways.

Pricing will vary based on the space you reserve. Rental of the entire facility will include a spacious back deck overlooking the Champion Beech Tree, the lower covered back patio area, and access to the gardens.

Availability: Weekday rentals are Monday through Friday; Weekend rentals are Saturday and Sunday. Our standard business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Weekdays can begin as early as 7:30 am.

Size/Capacity: 66 seated guests (interior) and 125 guests cocktail-style (interior).

Specs: Our Garden Room (Open Concept Room) is 35’ x 18’ x 21’. This includes the use of the back deck, the back patio, and access to the gardens.

Catering & Kitchen Equipment: We do not provide catering services but can provide a list of preferred caterers. We do not require a corking fee. Please review additional considerations below.

Equipment Available: Venue rental pricing includes banquet, round, and pub tables, chairs, wifi and upgraded technologies such as a projector with a screen, a podium, wireless microphone, overhead sound speaker systems, and much more. In addition, table linens are available in many colors for an additional charge if needed.

Entire Conference Center

Compton Gardens Conference Center and surrounding Compton Gardens are available to rent for any occasion, week day and weekend.

Availability: Weekday rentals are Monday through Friday; Weekend rentals are Saturday and Sunday. Our standard business hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm. Weekdays can begin as early as 7:30 am.

Size/Capacity: Renting the entire Conference Center will include the Garden Room, Small and Large Boardrooms (Specs listed below).

Catering: We do not provide catering services but can provide a list of preferred caterers. We do not require a corking fee.

Equipment Available: Venue rental pricing includes banquet, round, and pub tables, chairs, wifi and other upgraded technologies. A projector with a screen, podium, wireless microphone, overhead sound speaker systems, and more are available on request.

Catering: We have an open catering policy and do not charge any corking fees.

Pricing: Our weekday daily rate is $500. We also offer two and four-hour rental periods. Weekday rental rates apply Monday through Friday. Our weekend rate for the entire facility is $1,500 per day which includes the back deck and patio area. We also offer an hourly rate of $150 per hour, with a minimum of two hours, depending on the length of your event.

Garden Room Rental Details

The Garden Room (or Open Concept Room) is an ideal venue for corporate events, private parties, board meetings, special celebrations and much more.

Availability: Weekday rentals are Monday through Friday; Weekend rentals are Saturday and Sunday. Our standard business hours are 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. Weekdays can begin as early as 7:30 a.m.

Size/Capacity: 65 guests, 125 guests cocktail style

Specs: The Garden Room is 35’ x 18’ x 21’. This includes the use of the back deck, the back patio, and access to the gardens. This is a different venue from the Compton Gardens and can be rented separately.

Equipment Available: Venue rental for The Garden Room will include banquet, round, and pub tables, chairs, wifi and other technologies such as a projector, screen, podium, wireless microphone, overhead sound speaker systems, and more. In addition, table linens are available in many colors upon request for an additional charge if needed.

Large Boardroom Rental Details

This spacious meeting area is a great place to foster meaningful communication between your team and colleagues.

The Large Boardroom at the Compton Gardens is equipped for meetings for 10 persons or more.

Availability: Weekday rentals are Monday through Friday; Weekend rentals are Saturday and Sunday. Our standard business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Weekdays can begin as early as 7:30 a.m.

Size/Capacity: Seating for 16 persons.

Equipment Available: Click-share technology, glass ideation boards, overhead speaker system, plug and play options, AUX compatible technologies such as projectors, projector screens, a podium, folding chairs, and a wireless microphone.

Small Boardroom Rental Details

If you are looking for a smaller meeting venue for eight or fewer persons, consider our Small Boardroom venue. It is a great option for your small business or corporate meeting needs.

Availability: Weekday rentals are Monday through Friday; Weekend rentals are Saturday and Sunday. Our standard business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Weekdays can begin as early as 7:30 a.m.

Size/Capacity: Eight people or fewer

Equipment Available: Click-share technology, glass ideation boards, overhead speaker system, plug and play options, AUX compatible technologies such as projectors, projector screens, a podium, folding chairs, and a wireless microphone.

Pricing: Daily Rate of $150

Additional Policies & Considerations

Please review our additional policies and considerations below. The beautiful venues available for rental at The Peel Compton Foundation are made to be flexible and easy to access. We are happy to provide more information if needed.

Hours of Access: The Compton Gardens and Conference Center will be open for your event as per the contracted time for the rental. The rental period will include the set-up of your event, the actual event, the breakdown, and clean-up of your event (Please review the cleaning contract below).

Parking: We have 55 designated parking spots surrounding the facility. These spaces are shared with the public. If you desire private parking, we will close off public access for you and your guests for an additional fee.

Event Attendant: The Peel Compton Foundation will provide at least one staff member that will be present during your contracted period and available for any venue issues that may arise. The Event Attendant does not coordinate, receive deliveries including food, or assist with catering. The Event Attendant is not responsible for moving items or cleaning. These tasks should be conducted by the designated event planner for your event.

Food & Drink: Our open catering policy allows individuals who rent our venues to bring in their own food and beverages (including alcohol), without any additional fees. If alcohol is provided at the event free of charge, alcohol must be served in full compliance with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations.

Catering & Kitchen Equipment: A full prep kitchen is available to renters and their caterers. The kitchen includes a commercial grade ice machine, refrigerator, and warming oven. Your caterer must be licensed and insured to conduct business in the state of Arkansas. Please contact us for our list of preferred wedding professionals.

Equipment Available: Venue rental pricing includes banquet, round, and pub tables, chairs, wifi and upgraded technologies including projector with a screen, wireless microphone, overhead sound speaker systems, and more. Table linens are available in many colors for an additional charge.

Entertainment: Hired entertainment will be responsible for their own sound system, clean-up, and equipment. There will be a member from The Peel Compton Foundation available if any issues arise that are venue related.

Cleaning Fee: Events starting after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, or anytime on Saturday and Sunday with up to 25 guests will be charged an additional $150 cleaning fee. The cleaning fee increases $50 for each additional 50 guests in attendance. You may elect to opt out of the cleaning fee if you perform the required rental clean-up as outlined in your contract. No equipment can remain overnight. Please confirm with The Peel Compton Foundation before your event.

Deposit/Balance: Booking an event at Compton Gardens and Conference Center requires a 50% down payment due at signing which secures your event date. The remaining balance is due in full two weeks prior to your event date. The Peel Compton Foundation requires a signed contract, and if necessary depending on your event and its size, insurance coverage. We offer discounted rates for both nonprofit events and multi-date events.
