Please review our additional policies and considerations below. The beautiful venues available for rental at The Peel Compton Foundation are made to be flexible and easy to access. We are happy to provide more information if needed.
Hours of Access: The Compton Gardens and Conference Center will be open for your event as per the contracted time for the rental. The rental period will include the set-up of your event, the actual event, the breakdown, and clean-up of your event (Please review the cleaning contract below).
Parking: We have 55 designated parking spots surrounding the facility. These spaces are shared with the public. If you desire private parking, we will close off public access for you and your guests for an additional fee.
Event Attendant: The Peel Compton Foundation will provide at least one staff member that will be present during your contracted period and available for any venue issues that may arise. The Event Attendant does not coordinate, receive deliveries including food, or assist with catering. The Event Attendant is not responsible for moving items or cleaning. These tasks should be conducted by the designated event planner for your event.
Food & Drink: Our open catering policy allows individuals who rent our venues to bring in their own food and beverages (including alcohol), without any additional fees. If alcohol is provided at the event free of charge, alcohol must be served in full compliance with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations.
Catering & Kitchen Equipment: A full prep kitchen is available to renters and their caterers. The kitchen includes a commercial grade ice machine, refrigerator, and warming oven. Your caterer must be licensed and insured to conduct business in the state of Arkansas. Please contact us for our list of preferred wedding professionals.
Equipment Available: Venue rental pricing includes banquet, round, and pub tables, chairs, wifi and upgraded technologies including projector with a screen, wireless microphone, overhead sound speaker systems, and more. Table linens are available in many colors for an additional charge.
Entertainment: Hired entertainment will be responsible for their own sound system, clean-up, and equipment. There will be a member from The Peel Compton Foundation available if any issues arise that are venue related.
Cleaning Fee: Events starting after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, or anytime on Saturday and Sunday with up to 25 guests will be charged an additional $150 cleaning fee. The cleaning fee increases $50 for each additional 50 guests in attendance. You may elect to opt out of the cleaning fee if you perform the required rental clean-up as outlined in your contract. No equipment can remain overnight. Please confirm with The Peel Compton Foundation before your event.
Deposit/Balance: Booking an event at Compton Gardens and Conference Center requires a 50% down payment due at signing which secures your event date. The remaining balance is due in full two weeks prior to your event date. The Peel Compton Foundation requires a signed contract, and if necessary depending on your event and its size, insurance coverage. We offer discounted rates for both nonprofit events and multi-date events.
