Compton Gardens & Arboretum

Just blocks from the square, Compton Gardens and Arboretum is a greenspace paradise in the heart of Downtown Bentonville. The mid-century modern home of Dr. Neil Compton’s family was beautifully restored in 2018 and provides multiple layouts for private events, as well as board rooms for meeting space.

Garden Room

Original stone features and a terrace that overlooks the unique woodland landscape of Compton Gardens. A welcoming lobby and catering kitchen are located adjacent to the Garden Room to add to the beauty and convenience of this space. The Walker Display art hanging system features original photography of the region and can be used to display art as requested. Overhead speakers are available for plug and play access and a projector and screen are available upon request, as well as a mobile podium and wireless microphone.

At 35’x18’x21’ the Garden Room can accommodate up to 65 seated guests or 90 for a standing reception.

Weekend (Entire Facility)

  • Hourly rate – $175/hr (4 hour minimum)
  • $900 up to 6 hours
  • $1800 up to 12 hours

Large Boardroom

This spacious meeting area of the Large Boardroom is a great place to foster meaningful communication between teams and colleagues. The Large Boardroom is equipped for meetings of up to 16 guests, and features ClickShare Wireless Presentation System, a large screen TV with HDMI hookups, and a conference call phone system, ideation boards, and a podium.

Small Boardroom

The small boardroom provides a perfect setting for meetings and shared workspace. The small boardroom is equipped for meetings of up to 8 guests and features ClickShare Wireless Presentation System, a large screen TV with HDMI hookups, an ideation board, and a podium.

Additional Details

Your rental includes the use of thirteen (13) 8’ banquet tables, ten (10) 4’ round tables, five (5) 32” cocktail tables, ninety (90) folding chairs, and one (1) 6’ sweetheart table. Linens are available for a fee of $6 per round, $11 per banquet, and $25 per 50 napkins.

The on-site catering kitchen features a commercial refrigerator, ice machine, hot holding cabinet, dish washer, three compartment sink, handwashing sink, and a private entrance for loading in and out of the facility.

Compton Gardens has an open catering policy, and you may provide your own food and beverage for your event. Alcohol must be served in accordance with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations. All sales of alcohol must be conducted through a certified server or caterer that holds the appropriate license and permits to serve alcoholic beverages.
